My website http://www.tutipatriots.tv/ developed with AngulrJS 1.5 with .Net backend. Its working fine in local system. When we upload all files in server, it is sometimes loading all the files and sometimes not. It says error in CSS and JS like “might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED”. But this error happens sometimes only when we press ctrl + F5. Since, we are new in AngularJS, […]

After deploying an angular 5 app in IIS, URL loads in the following format: localhost/myapp/’myapp’ Command used to build: ng build –prod –base-href /myapp/ It was working fine, but additional ‘myapp’ is appearing at the end of URL now. Additional notes: /myapp/ is same as the virtual directory name It’s not about adding web.config file with a rewrite rule. But still look like this is some redirection issue. But I’m not able to figure out. […]

Visual Studio 2017 Webpack Hot Module Replacement DotNetCore IIS AppPool Permissions [HMR]

I’ve been using VS 2017 Preview’s Angular template to build out a SPA and ran in to a bit of a problem with HMR. Firstly, [HMR] works like a champ in any web configuration ( project and IIS Express ) with the exception of IIS. When running in IIS, VS tooling creates a Web.config with a wrapper class for attaching to the web process ( including just in case it’s relevant ): <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?> […]

IIS Rewrite rule with Angular routing

I am building an application that is an ASP.NET MVC and Angular 1.x hybrid. I use MVC as a shell and then layered Angular on top of it. I did this for a couple of reasons. First, it provided me with the ability to create an HTML helper class for script references to support cache busting. Second, it allows me to “push” a set of server side configurations to angular for things like web service […]
