There is a better way to write a nested if statements?

There is a patter or code improvment for the following code?. Im currently working in Angular with Typescript.

     private static isMatch(params: any): boolean {
    return (
        this.isSomething(params)
        || this.isAnimal(params)
        || this.isFruit(params)
    );
}
private static isSomething(params: any) {
    return (params === 'Hello' || params === 'Another' || params === 'Test');
}

    private static isAnimal(params: any) {
    return (params === 'Dog' || params === 'Cow' || params === 'Cat');
}

 private static isFruit(params: any) {
    return (params === 'Apple' || params === 'Banana');
}
