I’m building an Android/iOS app using Angular Material and Ionic on WebStorm IDE. To test it before deployment I usually used Google Chrome device simulation and, when it came to major updates, I also started testing it on my device, which is a Redmi Note 8 Pro.
As for now everything works fine on the emulated devices (both Android and iOS) and also on physical iOS devices, as you can see in these examples:
but when it comes to test on my physical device or any other Android device, what I’m getting is this:
It sounds like when building the app, either ionic or cordova can’t correctly read some configuration file. Anyway, when compiling and building the .apk file I don’t get any error: the build is completely successful and warnings-free (or, at least, it is on ionic/cordova’s view).
Why do I get this error? What can I try to change in order to solve this?
